You never anticipated breastfeeding would be so difficult or that there wouldn’t be the support you need to feel confident & comfortable nourishing your new baby.

Whether this is your first baby or third, you can’t help feeling like breastfeeding isn’t the easy, intuitive, intimate experience others present it to be. For you, it’s raw nipples, self-doubt, and constant anxiety around your baby’s weight and nutritional intake.

But no one is talking about this, and you’re left wondering,

Why is breastfeeding so difficult for me? What’s wrong with me? Shouldn’t this happen naturally?

How society & social media portray breastfeeding isn't reality.

The majority of mamas struggle with breastfeeding.

Just like you, they’re silently suffering through a painful latch, sore nipples, and a wavering milk supply. They’re cradling their baby while opening tab after tab, filling their search bar with breastfeeding & lactation questions.

Mamas are suffering in silence, but you shouldn’t have to.

It’s time to close those conflicting tabs that are overwhelming you with self-doubt, worst-case scenarios, and feelings of failure.

Breastfeeding isn’t a walk in the park, but with the right support, guidance, and systems you can successfully breastfeed your baby and find a feeding routine that ensures you understand your baby’s nutritional needs and overall health.

But Google won’t be a part of this journey.

Thrive Breastfeeding has helped thousands of women successfully breastfeed without pain and with a deep understanding of their baby’s hunger, nutrition, and weight.

Now it’s your turn to experience the peace of mind that comes with understanding your baby’s nutritional intake & ensuring they’re eating well to support their development.

“I was at risk of my baby being readmitted to the hospital as a one week old due to low nutrition and Amy was a huge part of helping avoid that scary scenario”

Amy is a GOD SEND! I had my baby in January and called her in a panic as my milk came in very late. Amy stepped in right away and offered her help and support. She made me feel heard, validated, and confident that I could get through. I was at risk of my baby being readmitted to the hospital as a one week old due to low nutrition and Amy was a huge part of helping avoid that scary scenario. As a first time mom I would 100% use a great lactation consultant like Amy … it is the one service I would say is a MUST for any new mamas.

“I did not feel heard by the lactation consultants in the hospital and was pretty overwhelmed trying to figure out the right path forward for feeding my daughter”

My daughter did not latch properly and it was very stressful as a first time parent. I did not feel heard by the lactation consultants in the hospital and was pretty overwhelmed trying to figure out the right path forward for feeding my daughter. Amy was so great to work with – she is extremely responsive, caring, and calm. She did not pressure me on any particular path forward, but met me where I was and helped me find the right solution for my baby and me. She definitely took my mental health and wellbeing into account as well as the practical aspects of breastfeeding and pumping. I would highly recommend working with her for any parent trying to figure out breastfeeding and/or pumping and related issues.

“We couldn’t have survived the first few weeks without Amy and her expertise”

Our baby lost a little too much weight after birth and we had been put on an aggressive “triple feeding” plan by the time I contacted Amy. She came over and was able to confirm that our baby was latching and taking milk well and that I had enough breast milk to sustain her and get her growing back to birth weight. Once baby started gaining again and we got the approval from our pediatrician, we were able to transition back to exclusive breastfeeding and Amy was super responsive to my questions and concerns via text as we started to establish our new rhythm. We couldn’t have survived the first few weeks without Amy and her expertise.

The truth is, with a new baby, you don’t know what’s coming up next on the roller coaster of life. This uncertainty is upsetting, frustrating, and overwhelming.

But if you educate yourself on the science of baby health & feeding, you can feel confident & in control throughout your breastfeeding & parenting journey.

That’s what I’m here to do – educate & empower you to see breastfeeding as a gift, not an ongoing struggle.
